Accessibility Researcher
I’m a PhD Candidate at UC Irvine, advised by Dr. Anne Marie Piper. My research explores how accessibility is understood, valued, and put into practice by people and organizations. I am passionate about uncovering people’s stories behind policies, technologies, and systems—and sharing them in ways that spark insight and meaningful change.
Before beginning my PhD, I worked as a User Experience Researcher on projects spanning team, departmental, and organizational levels. I conducted user interviews, usability tests, and surveys to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating insights into actionable design and strategy recommendations. I returned to academia to further strengthen my research toolkit and deepen my understanding of human-centered design through the lens of accessibility, equity, and inclusivity.
